Who is Barrack Obama? The answer is , He's the first African American and 44th President of the United States of America. Obama was the junior United States Senator from Illinois from January 3, 2005 until his resignation on November 16, 2008, following his election to the presidency. He was sworn in as the forty-forth President of the United States on January 20, 2009 in an inaugural ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.
Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. He worked as a community organizer, and practiced as a civil rights attorney in Chicago before serving three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. He also taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. Following an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, Obama was elected to the Senate in November 2004. Obama delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004.

Barack Obama was born at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Ann Dunham, a white American from Wichita, Kansas of English and Irish descent. Obama's father was Barack Obama, Sr., a Luo from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya. His parents met in 1960 while attending the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, where his father was a foreign student. The couple married on February 2, 1961; they separated when Obama was two years old and divorced in 1964. Obama's father returned to Kenya and saw his son only once more before dying in an automobile accident in 1982. Hes a half white and african American race. Hes mother is white American. He then mentioned sometimes that when Christmas or Thanksgiving occasions, its like a mini- United nations party. As i watched him in his speech, what he mentioned was purely in reality. He knows what America faces now about global crisis. He even said that its not easy to fight the global crisis, but America will fight for it. And he also discussed equality of every person in terms of freedom and rights to be happy.
Restore peace in all nations na bukas sa kapayapaan ay isa din sa kanyang palatuntunan. Rule of Law and helping 3rd world countries are also included in his platform. In all of his programs, we all know and we also hope that he will change America and not only his country, but all the entire nations for the sake of all mankind.
